About
Chris Nicou
Chris Nicou is a British actor, producer and director based in London. On screen he has worked across The Day of the Jackal, The Crown, The Nevers, Deceit and EastEnders. In independent film, he won Best Actor at Unrestricted View 2024 for Coyote.
As a producer he has made films that travel: Denzel took the Grand Jury Prize at Edmonton, and Coyote was nominated for Best Feature Film at the National Film Awards UK. In 2025 he directed It's All Gravy, his first film as a director, and also acted in it.
Building and nurturing characters which you then bring to life on the stage or screen is the most magical experience. The transformation of self into the imaginary.
